Here’s a quick and easy way to come up with a new pen name (aka nom de plume or pseudonym):
Select the first name of your best friend in high school.
Add the last name of the main character in the last novel you read.
That’s your pen name: first name of best friend plus last name of a great character.
That makes my new pen name Gary Harvath.
