Lisa Kogan: Dreaming and Doing

Lisa Kogan, a columnist for Oprah magazine, answered a reader’s question about getting her dreams off the ground.

Here is part of her answer:

If all we ever did was dream, the world would be made up of Batmans and ballerinas—it’s time to stop spinning and start doing.

Then Lisa laid out a plan for the reader:

Plan two steps each day. Every weekend write down two specific things you can do every day to bring yourself closer to one of your goals.

Do the two steps each day. Don’t go to sleep until you can check off the two steps you’ve taken each day.

Take baby steps. Soon the daily baby steps will lead to major accomplishments towards your goals.
