An old friend of mine, Willy Mathes, recently had a wonderful bit of writing success.
Willy’s been a freelance book editor and writing coach for 17 years. One of his clients, Judy Warren, began blogging for Huffington Post last July. Not long ago, she also started practicing Transcendental Meditation (TM), something Willy had been doing for 43 years. It turns out Arianna Huffington, who invited Judy to blog for Huffington Post during a Women in the Media Who Meditate conference, had also been doing TM for many years.
Since Willy had been wanting to blog about how some principles that help improve writing can also be used to improve one’s personal life, he asked Judy to make an e-introduction to Arianna. Shortly thereafter, Arianna warmly invited Willy to blog for the Huffington Post. On March 16th, they published Willy’s post, “Trust the Voice Within You.”
