Book Marketing Alert: The Words You Use Determine Your Success

The words you use determine how successful you’ll be. So says Henrik Hagtvedt, who recently wrote a study on how word choice influences behavior.

Here are some word choices you can make:

I am going to ace my next challenge vs. I’m going to try to ace my next challenge.

I don’t quit vs. I can’t quit.

I get to push my limits vs. I have to finish this project (or I have to do my workout).

Language swaps like these can turn struggles into opportunities. Don’t let your language sap your strength. Let your word choices help you to flex your talents, psyche yourself up, and achieve your goals.
