– Free Kindle Ebooks – As Bestsellers
– Indie Bookstore Campaigns
– Blog Posts and Articles on Marketing Books
– When and How to Use a Pen Name
– Alexa 400,000 or Bust Program

After checking out dozens of author websites in the past few days, I’m amazed at how many of you settle for little or no traffic to your websites. You don’t have to settle for such poor traffic. To exchange your current destiny for a bestselling destiny, check out my Alexa 400,000 or Bust program at the end of this email newsletter.

I was also surprised at how few of you took advantage of joining in another author’s blog tour or virtual book tour. It’s so simple to take part in a tour, and the best tours send an incredible amount of traffic back to you (as well as forward to the author doing the tour). How can you expect to have other authors support your promotions when you won’t take the time to support theirs? It doesn’t make sense.

Free Kindle Ebooks – As Bestsellers

Bestselling author Cindy Cashman offered a free download of two new Kindle ebooks on Thursday and Friday (October 10 to 11).

Recipes for Everyday Abundance – Recipes for peace, love, relationships, communications and confidence are interspersed with light-hearted one-liners, providing a simple way to be reminded of the values in life that keep us happy. No longer free, but now for sale: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00ATSYL3A/bookmarketingupd

Inspirations from Oprah and Her Guests – Cindy’s personal notes on inspirational wisdom provided by Oprah and her guests. No longer free, but now for sale: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00DTIQ9XM/bookmarketingupd

In just one day of free giveaways, Recipes was already ranked #898 in the Kindle Store while Inspirations was ranked #1,121.

Also within one day, Recipes was ranked #3 for Happiness and #5 for Motivational in the Kindle Store. At the same time, Inspirations was ranked #3 for Personal Transformation and #7 for Motivational.

Both books are great inspiration to keep you going after or during a hard day of book promotion and social sharing.

When and How to Use a Pen Name

In the past I’ve written two blog posts about using pen names, including when to use them and how to use them. Check out the updated blog posts here:

Note: If you use a pen name, you are in good company – with such writers as George Orwell, Dr. Seuss, Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin,Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, and Anne Rice.
