Self-Publishing Hall of Fame: Milo Yiannopoulos

On June 6, 2017, Milo Yiannopoulos’s latest title Dangerous Milo hit #1 on Amazon during its first day on sale.

After his original publisher Simon & Schuster dropped the book due to controversy, Milo self-published the book under his own Dangerous Books imprint. Simon & Schuster dropped the book even though it had already receive over 75,000 pre-orders. Milo’s self-published version hit #1 on Amazon a month before the official publication date on July 4th (American Independence Day).

Mainstream media, liberal celebrities, and left-wing activists had celebrated the cancellation of his book by S&S. As Milo noted in an interview with Red Alert Politics, “This is the book the liberals didn’t want you to read, they did everything they could to stop it and nonetheless we persisted, and my fans have stuck by my side.”

“I’m releasing the book on Independence Day,” Milo noted, “because we’re freeing ourselves of political correctness, social justice warriors, censorship, the corrupt leftist media, and man-hating feminism.”
