Here’s the first book to receive my Bestseller Book Cover Seal of Approval. That is a great book cover and a wonderful social media graphic (that is eminently shareable).
Who doesn’t love illicit and oily sex? Who doesn’t love illicit and oily money? And whoever said that North Dakota is boring?
The cover has some good things going for it: dramatic colors, a striking image, unusual but highly readable typeface.
It’s one drawback? It’s hard to read much of the blurb except when the cover is larger.
One other possible drawback: A Novel. Perhaps it should read: A Mystery so it better defines the audience. Just a thought.
