Here are a few of the secrets to working with difficult people that were shared by some of Hollywood’s most powerful women:
Pretend to take an important call.
Adopt a no assholes policy (don’t work with them).
Be honest with the nightmare people.
Remind yourself that you fall into that category.
Be humorous. And gossip.
Follow the rules of day care: Snack, nap, hug, take a time-out.
Do your homework. Listen to others.
Pretend they’re characters in a Jane Austen novel.
Patience & wine. Drink a little tequila.
Do a lot of meditation.
Have empathy and a belief in karma.
