I saw that statement on a Pinterest pin. I really don’t believe it’s true. Smart people are better than that. They don’t read books as if the books were TV dramas, TV comedies, or TV reality shows. They read books for the unique things books offer: food for deep thought, incredible inspiration, slow absorption of someone else’s ideas, and a wonderful look into other people’s lives, loves, and deepest desires.
