Self-Publishers: You Carry the Passport to Your Own Happiness

You are the one that possesses the keys to your being. You carry the passport to your own happiness. — Diane von Furstenberg, fashion designer

Diane Von Furstenberg on the Keys to Happiness

While Diane was speaking generally, I believe her statement also applies to book authors, self-publishers, book publishers, and writers. You possess the keys to your being. Now, with the ready availability of self-publishing options, writers really do possess the keys to their being. Writers carry the passport to their own happiness.

And, perhaps most important, self-publishing writers now have the power to share their ideas, their joy, their experience with everyone.

We, as self-publishing writers, have the keys to our own being, the passport to our own happiness—and the keys to other people’s well-being and happiness as well.
