R. C. Allen Jr., author of The Funeral Writer novel, has recently revamped his website to add a special blog on funeral news.
As he notes: “I can’t think of a better way to promote my novel than to bring the idea of blogging about funeral news to reality. It’s been an interesting project.”
On his site, R.C. hopes to grab the attention of new readers with his Funeral News blog. You can find it here: http://thefuneralwriter.weebly.com.
“We’ve had a great response,” he wrote. “We’re getting a lot of visits each day and it’s helped promote the novel on a larger scale. Every author should do this for their book because it’s fun and interesting.”
The new website also includes the book trailer, upcoming news, and a few words from R.C. The book can also be purchased there with one extra perk: You can buy a copy from R.C. Allen Jr. and get an autographed copy sent to you.
In his humorous yet contemplative novel, The Funeral Writer, R.C. Allen Jr. blends the funny mishaps that can occur at funerals with important life lessons people can all gain while mourning the loss of a loved one.
And here are a few of his recent topics on his Funeral News blog. Notice how he draws people into his website using contemporary news and humor. Any novelist, poet, or book author could do the same thing.
